    Default Technician name on jobsheets/worksheets

    Hi Steve,

We would like to have the technician's name printed on the jobsheets and notice that there the layout we use (portrait) includes it, but we have no idea of how to get it to print out, no matter what technician we select agains a labour item in the jobsheet.

Are we missing something or is this a minor bug?

    Cheers

    Sean

Due to the changes of allowing multiple technicians, per labour line & now MOT tester aswell, it was difficult to decide which technician to print if multiple where used.

Two thoughts, one I explained earlier when chatting with you was we could pull the first one used on the labour line, or MOT tester

The other option would be to add a column to the invoice area to include the technician ID

Why not take a look at our Help and Information Centre containing articles and videos to help you get the most from GA3

    Hi Steve,

Perhaps if you could incorporate both options?

Our immediate need is that for our apprentice, we need to show jobs that he has worked on for his on the job development training for his college course. Having his name on the jobsheets is a way of showing what he has done.

Having both options allows you to have a senior technician who is responsible for the whole job and then the extra column shows other technicians who may have helped on certain aspects.

Perhaps if only one technician name is set up, then you don't display the extra column, just the name at the top of the jobsheet. Unless this is too complicated....

    Cheers

    Sean
