    Default Am i being stupid?

    How do i transfer the backup file into itunes so i can upload onto my iphone?? Only got the single user license, but would be handy to backup onto the phone.

    You do not transfer the backup files to an iPhone, instead you transfer the main data files.
    This short clip should get you going.

    Copying the files back to your PC is required ONLY if you change or update things on your iPhone.
    If you are using it to view / just have a copy on there, then you can simply over-write the existing files on your iPhone each time, no need to copy them back to your PC
