New iPhone Screen shots and a short video

The following page shows some of the most recent screen shots of the iPhone working as a client to the network edition of Garage Assistant GA3. Although we are using WIFI (due to signal issues) it does work via 3G too, albeit a little slower.

As with the earlier web-based interface, we have streamlined the screen so there is no need to zoom in or out, the screen size is locked, so the only scrolling needed is when viewing lists.

Although we are still testing you can now perform the following :

Documents : Search / View / Create / Edit / Delete - Estimates, Job sheets and Invoices
Documents : Lookup customers from the database
Documents : Lookup vehicles from the database
Documents : make use of the pre-entered jobs (via job code)
Documents : make use of stock by either browsing or using the part number

Appointments : Search / View / Create / Edit / Delete
Appointments : Lookup customers from the database
Appointments : Lookup vehicles from the database

Customers : Search / View / Create / Edit / Delete

Vehicles : Search / View / Edit / Create / Delete
Vehicles : Select the vehicle owner from the database

Stock : Search / View / Create / Edit / Delete

Or you can open the full GA3 interface, which can be tricky on the iPhone.

Not all fields have been added to the iPhone interface to keep it streamlined.
Also, some things are not supported, such as there is no ability to print from these devices, no save to PDF functionality

This will be part of GA3 after the next patch, ready to use with the FileMaker Go App from the appstore.

Although on initial release it will be classed as a beta version.
