When installing GA3 network editions on Windows XP you may find that GA3 does not work / connect first time around
The following are some tell-tale signs that there is a problem with the install :
1. When launching, you are presented with a window stating that a dialog is unregistered
2. Looking in the Garage Assistant V3 Server / Client Folder for the existence of Filemaker Pro
This is easily solved !
The problem is caused by our install having to update windows installer to the later version, this prevents FileMaker installing.
GA3 will try to open in the older version of FileMaker pro, however it will not work with this version.
To solve the issue, simply re-install the client / server from the CD-Rom
The second time around, it will install all required components.
You must ensure you install FileMaker Pro and Bonjour
Bonjour is a network configuration tool which assists in the connection process.
