    Default VAT - NOT the 15% change!

    Hello,

    We have changed the VAT rate in the Setup Wizard section however it now seems to be adding 17.501784803% which has the effect of adding on an extra 3p on a circa £1961 estimate/invoice...?

    Any ideas why this is happening? (more to the point what have I done?!)

    One of our most discussed topics is the way the VAT is calculated, when compared to adding vat to the subtotal figues.

    Now the VAT has gone back to 17.5% this becomes more apparent than previously. Rather than go into detail here, please check the examples we have provided in the help system which explains the way GA calculates VAT on a line by line basis, due to the type of invoice being created.

    We are still going through scenarios though, just in case something is not quite right, for example, if the vat rate is not updating correctly on a specific item..
