this may sound a strange question but would it be possible to install the standard and server edition on the same computer

Yes you can, however the default backups would conflict, since lastbackup is always created in C:\GABACKUP no matter what you specify in the admin area

Instead, use the training version from 'Additional Files' in your members area

There is no difference apart from the fact it states training version on the login screen and the backup folder is c:\GABACKUP Training

just installed the training copy along with the standard one, i would like to use the training on for my server file and my standard on with different file. it keeps asking for the license but will not accept either standard or server one to get it out of demo mode????

The training version uses the single user code, ensure the company name etc is a 100% match to those displayed in your members area
