I need some help please
Is there anyway on the system to set up a fixed cost for servicing ? To include parts
Ideally the invoice would just have the fixed cost, but I suppose more importantly any parts used would be taken off the stock
Hope that makes sense
Thanks
Jason

Fixed price servicing

Hi Jason
Yes you can do this fairly straight forward, however depending on the following theres two ways...
If you manually added the stock items and labour, would it be the same price as the proposed fixed price or are you looking at discounting the parts etc ?
Depending on which would require you to 'tinker' with the discounts or set the labour rate differently to make the price correct.
Either way, goto Admin then Labour System Manager
If you have not already got any, add a new category by clicking
View / Add / Modify Labour or Repair items
You could name it Fixed Price Work or similar
Next Click on Add new Job
Select the relevant category and as a description (visible to you only) enter something like fixed price service.
Enter the labour line you would like, followed by adding the part numbers of the items you want to be included and prices as required
Click Save and Close
Now from an invoice, in the labour section, you can click Select and add this job to the invoice, all details will be brought over and stock reduced as required.
Hope this helps
