GA Client Printing Garbage

Hi Steve,

On our networked client when you try and print jobsheets, invoices, etc to the local printer, they print out with the correct layout so you can see what it should be but all the text is just any random characters (mostly not A-Z letters).

Yet other programs such as Word print out fine on the local printer (its an old Epson EPL-5700 laser).

This isn't a new problem, I think its always done it, its just that in the past we haven't used the client seat much.

Hi Sean

Try going into the printer properties, then under advanced change the settings
from Spool print documents, to 'Print Directly to the printer'

Next, go to File > Print Setup...
for each printer box that pops up, instead of just changing the layout to portrait / landscape also go into the properties section and back out since this may help it capture the settings more efficiently

The only other thing I can think of at the moment is to check if there are any updated drivers on epson's website for the printer.
